We believe that learning, hard work, and fun are not mutually exclusive and that learning should be a joyful and exciting endeavor, especially for children. I have chosen to continue to work at Benjamin Franklin Charter School for 18 years now because of the atmosphere that the school and its staff provide. I have always felt supported and heard. I feel very comfortable sharing my thoughts and ideas with my colleagues and administration. When I first began teaching with BFCS, I had every tool and support I needed to help me become a successful teacher to ensure that my students had a great year of learning. This organization provides its staff with professional development opportunities to keep us moving in the right direction to help our students learn and grow with their hearts and minds. I love BFCS and look forward to many more years of providing a well-rounded education with high standards and respect for ourselves and our community.
