A Back-to-Basics Approach

Traditional education is the foundation of our curriculum. We focus on teaching students the fundamental rules, terms, and facts about mathematics, reading, recitations, penmanship, spelling, language, composition, history, geography, science, health, music, P.E., and art.

Training Good Citizens

Our students focus just as much on personal development as academics. In addition to specials and extracurriculars, our students build their character in our Core Virtues Program. In this literature-based method of teaching civic virtues, teachers set examples for students and teach them through acknowledgement, praise, and role-playing.

Pursuing Excellence since 1995

Benjamin Franklin was one of Arizona’s first charter schools and has been “Education Arizona … One Student at a Time” for 27 years. Our campuses consistently rank within the top 10% of Arizona’s 445 districts.
